What we receive
When a reading is made, only the question you type and the names and orientations of the cards you drew are sent to our server. We never ask for or receive identifying details such as your name, date of birth or contact information. There is no sign-up and no login.
Where it goes
To write the reading, it is sent to the Google Gemini API. Your browser does not send it directly — it passes through this site's server first, so that the API key is never exposed to visitors.
How long it stays
Your question and the reading are not written to any database or file on this site. They are gone when you refresh. The web server does keep ordinary access logs (time, IP address, requested path) for operation and error tracing, and to stop bursts of requests we keep a hashed form of your IP address for one hour. Neither of these contains the text of your question.
Does Google use what I write?
This service currently uses the free tier of the Gemini API. Under Google's terms, content sent on the free tier may be used to improve Google's services. That does not apply on the paid tier; if we move to it, this page will be updated at the same time.
So please do not put sensitive details — ID numbers, bank accounts, passwords — into your question. If something feels too close, a vaguer wording works just as well for the reading.
Ads and cookies
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to select ads and measure their performance, and may collect device information and approximate location. The Android app uses Google AdMob instead, which uses an advertising ID. You can turn off ad personalisation at Google My Ad Center, and reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android settings.
Apart from that, we run no analytics scripts of our own to identify visitors or track visits.
